Why We Built This Site
Colorado provides several public routes to court information, but each serves a different purpose. The Douglas County Combined Court clerk keeps the official District and County Court files. The Judicial Branch Docket Search lists hearings, while Colorado Courts Record Search at CoCourts supplies many public registers of action for a fee. Castle Rock, Parker, Lone Tree, Castle Pines, and Larkspur keep municipal matters in separate channels. We bring those distinctions, contacts, case-number clues, and request steps together in one place.
What You Will Find Here
- Case lookups: how to run a Douglas County case lookup by name or case number
- Docket help: how criminal and civil registers are found and read
- Record requests: how to obtain court records, plain copies, and certified documents from the clerk
- Hearing settings: how to use court dates and confirm a current appearance
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site with no connection to a Colorado court, the Douglas County Combined Court clerk, or any government agency. Those limits matter:
- We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
- We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
- We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
- We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now
Only the clerk of court or the trial court that heard the case can issue an official or certified copy of a docket sheet or court record. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
Search Partners
Third-party providers power search boxes on some pages. They operate their own services, choose their prices, and control their results. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may produce a referral fee that supports this resource. We do not set the provider's charges or determine which records its search returns.
