Need an Official Docket or Record?
Route common Douglas County requests as follows:
- A docket sheet: run a case lookup through CoCourts, or request the ROA from the clerk
- A court date or setting: check court dates, then confirm the setting with the clerk or division
- Certified copies: order from the clerk of court, who is the keeper of the docket and the official record
- A specific case: search by a full case number or exact party name and Douglas County filter
- Court records and case files: use the court record request route or contact the court that heard the case
The state-court records counter is the Clerk of Court, Douglas County Combined Court, 4000 Justice Way, Suite 2009, Castle Rock, CO 80109. Public hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding state holidays. Email DouglasRecords@judicial.state.co.us or use the statewide Record/Document Request Form. The official court page does not list a dedicated records telephone number, so use its current courthouse contact listing. Faxed court documents are not accepted.
